This book is all the more precious as its last pages contain a prayer to the seven archangels translated from Spanish into Tagálog (Philippines) by a native poet first in prose then in octosyllables, followed by an invocation in verse adapted from the Spanish. This author is anonymous for Andrés SERRANO did not bother to give his name, only referring to him as _un celebre Indio poeta Tagalo_ "a famous Tagalog Indian poet". These short texts give evidence of the state of the written language by the end of the 17th century.
Thank you Google for making this document available to the world. The Bibliothèque Nationale de France ought to emulate you.
