"What is this Thing Called Knowledge" covers epistemology well, laying out complex problems systematically and using helpful examples. Its only problem is the unusually high use of female pronouns. This politically charged approach makes the book difficult to read because one senses the cunning influence to control thought and speech in a campaign against masculinity––an unfortunate turn of events in our decaying Western culture.
This book could go from good to great quite easily, by editing out the gender politics and thus directing the readers attention to the subject matter.
